With the album The ClimaX Changes, pianist and composer Georg Boeßner once again presents himself as a modern, stylistically universal musician with an open attitude and an excellent storyteller. He writes and plays with his own unmistakable voice and a sharp, contemporary view not only of jazz, but also beyond. His wealth of experience in the music landscape as a whole is extraordinary. After working in the music industry and many experiences as a musician and producer, including with Wayne Escoffery, he teaches at various jazz education institutes and currently plays in various Projects, including with Henrik Walsdorff, Max Clouth, Kay Lübke and Jörg Fischer. It all began with a phone call in 2019; Georg Boeßner already had the idea of expanding his existing piano trio (with Alexander Sonntag / bass and Axel Pape / drums) and giving it a new musical direction. With the line-up and the band sound with its dazzling timbres already before his eyes and ears, he was looking for a fourth distinctive instrumentalist.
