Workshop: From Classical to Jazz

Are you a classical musician who wants to play jazz and understand jazz theory? Would you like to join Richmond Jazz School's thriving community of adult learner musicians? This course is for instrumentalists and singers from a classical background who want to develop their skills as they learn about the theory of jazz rhythm, harmony and improvisation, and then to apply it by making music together in a supportive workshop setting. This course is taught by Meredith White, the classically-trained jazz pianist, composer and songwriter.
