Diana Krall and Tony Bennett have been friends for more than 20 years now. They have already toured together and recorded one or the other duet.
in 2018, however, the two jazz icons now present their first joint album: "Love Is Here To Stay".
On it, Bennet and Krall celebrate their shared love of the music of George and Ira Gershwin. They are supported by the Bill Charlap Trio with Bill Charlap on piano, Peter Washington on bass and Kenny Washington on drums.
Together they have taken on twelve tracks, including the titular "Love Is Here to Stay", "S' Wonderful", "They Can't Take That Away From Me", "Fascinating Rhythm" and many more classics. The track listing can be found below.
