CD: Puerta

Jorge Rossy takes up the vibraphone and marimba for his ECM leader debut, delivering a trio program full of incisive original compositions. The vibraphonist's lines are characterized by their melodic variety and are in dance-like interplay with his colleagues, Robert Landfermann on bass and Jeff Ballard on drums.

Having recently participated as a drummer in Jakob Bro's trio on Uma Elmo, Jorge now focuses entirely on his own music. "Puerta" presents a varied program in which both the Spanish musician's compositional eloquence and his instrumental artistry are always on display.
