Quadro Nuevo's fourth Christmas album In addition to core members Mulo Francel (woodwinds), Andreas Hinterseher (accordion) and D.D. Lowka (bass), the quartet is optionally completed by pianist Chris Gall, guitarist Philipp Schiepek or vibraphonist Tim Collins during the recording sessions.

"December" is dedicated to the winter mood and the longing for peace. 13 melodies of religious or spiritual origin, feeding on shimmering jazz harmonies, from odd, meditative or funky rhythms to klezmer-inspired improvisations.
