Chris Hopkins has had the good fortune to perform alongside many jazz stars such as Clark Terry, Scott Hamilton, Butch Miles, Till Brönner, Götz Alsmann and many others and has played around 5000 concerts and festivals from America to Australia, from Zingst to Zurich. Equally adept on piano and saxophone, he impresses with a wealth of musical ideas and immense drive. He has been involved in over 50 CD productions, many of which have received coveted awards such as the "Preis der Deutschen Schallplatttenkritik" or the "Prix Fe L'Academie Fu Jazz, Paris". He was recently honored for his services to classical jazz in Europe as "Keeper Of The Flame" and with the coveted "Jazz-Pott Award" as "Best Progressive Artist".
