CD: Trios Sacred Thread

With his "Trios" album project, saxophonist Charles Lloyd is fulfilling an unusual dream: three thematically related albums, each with a different trio line-up, a "Trio Of Trios"
He recorded the first album "Chapel" with guitarist Bill Frisell and bassist Thomas Morgan, followed by "Ocean" with guitarist Anthony Wilson and pianist Gerald Clayton. "Sacred Thread" with guitarist Julian Lage and drummer Zakir Hussain now forms the crowning conclusion.
