CD: Decisive Steps

The "Decisive Step" - the decisive step for Tia Fuller was certainly joining the touring band of pop megastar 'Beyoncé'. However, colleagues in jazz circles have long been aware of the saxophonist's outstanding qualities, and she is far from putting her good looks above musical quality. She has no need for that: great compositional skill complements her ability on the instrument - radiant, gripping tone, finely chiseled lines, rhythmic precision. Her band is of an equally high standard, but of course it's nice to have even more famous colleagues as guests.
