After many albums and several concerts, the celebrated singer from Canada presents a live performance on DVD for the first time
The CD/DVD album "Steal The Night" was recorded and produced in 2011 at Glenn Gould Studio in Toronto. An intimate concert evening, which on the one hand documents an encounter with the artist's regular audience, and on the other hand presents a reunion of the first Holly Cole Trio with Aaron Davis (piano) and David Piltch (bass), supplemented by Davide Direnzo (drums), John Johnson (saxophone) and Bob Piltch (guitar)
The result is another virtuoso demonstration of the art of a great performer - individual, intelligent and intense. The repertoire included songs from all phases of Cole's career, nine songs on the CD, eleven on DVD. Plus an additional track in the DVD bonus material along with detailed biographies of the musicians in text form, as well as three film documentaries of special interest: "Holly In Japan", "The Trio" and "Coming To Toronto".
