Ulrich Cordes (*1980) studied at the Staatliche Hochschule für Musik Köln Church Music and Vocal Performance (with Prof. Christoph Prégardien). Since 2010 he continues working with Prof. Konrad Jarnot.
Cordes has been participating in concerts all over Europe, Russia, Brazil and the USA. His repertoire contains Bach's 'St Matthew Passion' and 'St John Passion', Händel's oratorios, Haydn's 'The Creation', 'The Seasons' and Masses, Mozart's 'Requiem', Mendelssohn's oratorios, Beethoven's 'Ninth Symphony' and Rossini's 'Petite Messe solenelle' among others.
He already has been invited as soloist to many concert Halls like the Berlin Konzerthaus, the Berlin Philharmonie, the Concerthall 'De Singel' (Antwerpen), the Palais de Beaux Arts (Bruxelles), the Cologne Philharmonie, the Dijon Auditorium, the Munich Philharmonie, the Herkulessaal Munich, the Muziekgebouw aan't Iij Amsterdam, the Theater 'de Oosterport' Groningen, the Teatro Salvador da Bahia (Brazil) and others. In November 2011 he sang his first concert in the Alice Tully Hall (Lincoln Center, New York).
