Rebecca Trescher (* 1986 in Tübingen) lives and works as a freelance composer, jazz clarinetist and band leader in Nuremberg. She studied jazz clarinet, composition and arrangement and a Master of Music in jazz clarinet (2008-2015) at the Nuremberg University of Music, followed by another Master of Music in composition at the Munich University of Music and Theater. For ten years she has been leading various of her own successful ensembles, with whom she has produced numerous CDs and can be heard on international concert stages. B. Jazzfest Bonn, Porgy & Bess Vienna, Goethe Institut Paris, Expo Milan, Jazzahead Bremen, XJazz Berlin, Jazzfestival Burghausen or Theaterhaus Stuttgart.
