Peter Protschka

Protschka, a very sought-after player, is an active member of the vibrating european jazz scene and is actually playing and recording jazz music in a variety of renowned venues like Villette Jazz Festival-Paris, Jazz and Joy Festival-Worms or Acht Brücken Festival-Cologne with musicians like Rick Margitza, Maria Schneider, Ingrid Jensen, Bobby Shew, Don Menza, Alex Sipiagin, David Murray, Oliver Lake, Tom van der Geld, Dieter Ilg, Jürgen Seefelder, Thomas Stabenow among many others. He is also performing classical music as a soloist and he is touring with orchestras playing ancient music on period instruments like Roland Wilson´s 'Musica Fiata.' He is a teacher for trumpet, harmony and bandcoaching at the cologne music conservatory Rheinische Musikschule Köln since 2007.
