Patrick Manzecchi, born in Paris in 1969, has lived in Konstanz since 1977 and, in addition to teaching at three different music schools, including the Jazz + Rock School in Konstanz, he gives regular concerts with a wide variety of instrumentations.
He has worked with well-known musical personalities such as Sheila Jordan, Barry Harris, Richie Beirach & George Mraz, the "Original James Brown Horns" Pee Wee Ellis & Fred Wesley, Paolo Fresu, Arthur Blythe, Bobby Watson, Dick Oatts & Gary Smulyan, Scott Hamilton , Harry Allen, David Friedman, Tim Hagans, Dusko Goykovich, Joe Magnarelli and many more.
Again and again he plays alongside his German colleagues Lyambiko, Torsten Goods, Gregor Hübner, Cornelius Claudio Kreusch, Sebastian Studnitzky, Thomas Siffling, Steffen Schorn and Klaus Graf.
Not only at home in jazz, but also solo performances or theater productions characterize his versatile work. In addition to 50 CDs as a sideman, he also has five under his own name.
