Martin Müller

Martin Müller
Acoustic Nylon Guitar
Born in 1956, he is a solitaire among guitarists. Unlike most of his colleagues, he plays a concert guitar strung with nylon strings, in the style of the Brazilian grandmasters. Since the early eighties, he has been one of the most innovative nylon guitarists on the European scene. The consistent continuation and integration of Brazilian rhythms and styles into his compositional style is evidenced by his catalogue of works, which to date includes around 500 pieces and around 30 CDs.
Martin Müller

He is known as ‘Mr BRAZILGUITAR’ and the Südddeutsche Zeitung called him ‘an institution for the Brazilian guitar in Germany’. But his musical vision goes far beyond the BRAZILGUITAR. Among the best interpretations for acoustic guitar are the recordings of his CD with interpretations of famous BEATLES songs - the transcription of ‘RHAPSODY in BLUE’ brought him worldwide recognition. Martin Müller presents a melange of musical impressions through the influences of Bossa Nova, Brazilguitar & Jazz, which merge from North to South and from West to East into a harmonious unison. Virtuoso, refined and emotional.
