Joe Hertenstein is a drummer, improviser, and composer who leads the bands 'HNH' and 'POLYLEMMA', which are based in New York City; and the NY-Cologne project 'FUTURE DRONE'. He co-leads the Cologne-based piano trio 'TØRN'. His work is released on labels such as MoersMusic, Cleanfeed, Red Toucan, 2nd Floor, jazzwerkstatt Berlin, Konnex, and Leo.
