from 1982 to 1986 classical music studies at the Berlin conservatory 'Hanns Eisler'
between 1982 and 1988 he played in numerous Jazz projects and concerts in east Germany - member of 'FUSION'
cooperation with Jay Oliver, Barre Philips, Conny & JohannesBauer, Ulrich Gumpert, Manfred Hering, Keith Tippett, Pierre Doerge, Sirone Jones, Karlheinz Stockhausen, Vinko Globokar, Joachim & Rolf Kühn, Peter Fox and many others
from 1988 to 1991 he also played in the improvising ensemble 'Kairos' together with Simon - and Markus Stockhausen
since 1993 organized the Jazz Unis and Jazz Focus Festival Berlin
works with the chamber ensemble Neue Musik Berlin since 1994
from 1988 to 1995 in performances of Karlheinz Stockhausen
