Harald Oeler (*1977) received his first lessons on the accordion as a six-year-old. After completing organ studies, he received instructions on the accordion from Hans Bogner in Gaggenau/Germany in preperation for conservatory study. After successfully competing in 'Jugend musiziert' an 'Jugend komponiert' competitions, he began studying with Prof Hugo Noth. Hecontinued his studies with Prof. Stefan Hussongat the Würzburg Musikhochschule in 2001, where, upon completing his performing arts degree (künstlerisches Diplom) with distinction in 2005, he was accepted into the master class. During his studies, Harald Oeler won prizes at national and international competitions, including 3rd Prize at the Third International Accordion Competition JAA Tokyo/Japan an 2nd prize at the 2005 German Music Conservatory Competition. Harald Oeler was awarded a scholarship by the Gernman National Foundation and has received support from 'LIVE MUSIC NOW' (Yehudi Menuhin Program for Supporting Young Musicians). Harald Oeler pursues avery active career as a concert artist in Germany an internationally, performing as a soloist an in various ensembles.
