Daniel was born in Burghausen, Germany and studied Jazz in Mannheim and Helsinki.
Meanwhile one of the most recognized piano players in Germany, Daniel is part of various projects. With his own band, he is implementing his own vision of jazz: a programmatic approach, combining his affinity for jazz and literature.
His work also includes TV-/ Radioshows, Theatreproductions and a lectureship at the University for Music, Mannheim. In 2014 his first play-along book was published by Alfred Music.
