Bernhard Auge is from Weimar Thuringia, by profession automobile engineer and an amateur musician the dance and jazz music scene. He owns for a long time, already at GDR times, about the best experiences and suitable achievements in the jazz area. Here he has 'come' according to the most different appraisals very well.
Since 1977 the original inhabitant of Weimar lives North Rhine-Westphalia in Bielefeld. Here he also created the 'Weimar jazz trio Bernhard Auge' what is classified in the scene as excellent. He makes music in the jazz classical trio with the experienced musicians, Rolf Dieter Mayer (bass), Benny Mokross (drums) and at times also with Peter Lübke (drums). For jazz standards and classical period jazz this trio is predestined. The trio reminds very fast of the 'characteristics' of e.g. Oscar Peterson, Erroll Garner, Eugen Cicero und Diana Krall etc.
