Engel-Musehold lives mainly in Berlin and works as a free lance musician, composer and lecturer.

The multiinstrumentalist counts as a virtuoso master of his instruments and belongs to the most successful German musicians and composers in the border area of the jazz.

He played with David Friedman, Markus Stockhausen, Trilok Gurtu, Carlos Bica, Gebhard Ullmann, John Schröder, Michael Rodach, Elena Ledda, Ulrich Moritz, Hans Hartmann, Ray Kaczinski... and appears as a soloist and in different formations. The three CDs of the 'Silent Jazz Ensemble' were praised in the media and were chosen by music magazines like 'Stereoplay' and 'HiFi vision' to records of the month or the year. Only in Germany became of it 40, 000 copies sells and worldwide he is represented with his music on more than 250, 000 sound carriers.

He is since 1a lecturer at the music school of Berlin Kreuzberg, gives private lessons and leads under the title 'Abenteuer Musik' Workshops on different subjects in Germany, Italy and France.
