Linda Kyei was born in Reutlingen, Germany. At the age of 3 she began to take part in music lessons held by her own mother, a teacher. She learned to play various instruments, and so she could take part in concerts.
Linda Kyei grew up as a Christian and sang in several church choirs. At the age of 14 she was leading her own choral projects, mainly gospel music. A year later she began composing her own pieces at the piano. She then attended numerous workshops, including one run by Melva Housto
