Sharon Mansur Trio

The trio led by Israeli pianist and keyboardist Sharon Mansur unites the expressive spectrum of jazz, the energy and directness of rock and electronic music, and the colourfulness of Middle Eastern music. The contrast between cinematic, ethereal passages and rocking bursts of energy and keyboard wizardry is characteristic of Mansur, whose Middle Eastern-influenced melody lines make light of Western music’s limitation to semitones.
