Valeria Michel Quartet Latin influences with jazz

Valeria Michel is a professional singer born in Ecuador to a Cuban family, celebrated for blending Latin influences with jazz. She studied in the prestigious jazz program at the University of Miami, earning a Master’s degree, and has over 27 years of international performance experience. Based for many years in Miami, she has appeared at major festivals and jazz clubs worldwide, including the Alaçatı and Stuttgart Latin Jazz Festivals, as well as venues in Tokyo, Beijing, Lisbon, Singapore, Philadelphia, New York City, and Berlin. Her debut CD was pre-nominated for three Latin Grammy Awards, and she has recorded and performed with renowned jazz artists such as Vince Mendoza, Nestor Torres, Diego Urcola, and Troy Roberts, among others.
