Bassist and composer Santi Debriano has been playing the instrument since he was a teenager. Born in Panama, he has lived in New York City for many years, serving as the leader of his own groups and as a sideman for others. In the city’s community of jazz musicians, he is like an oak tree, with roots that stretch into many different idioms and styles practiced by some of the most accomplished musicians in the indisputable jazz capital of the universe. Santi has performed at many of the world’s most renowned jazz festivals and concert halls, often presenting his own
compositions with his groups. Santi Debriano’s Arkestra Bembe, a 9 piece group has released their most recent recording, Ashanti, on Jojo Records.

Santi's previous touring and recording projects include Flash of the Spirit (Andrea Brachfeld,Tommy Campbell, Bill O’Connel, Justin Robinson, Craig Handy, Valtinho) Panamaniacs (Dave Sanchez, Dave Kikoski, Tommy Campbell, Mino Cinelu), Circlechant (Miri Ben Ari, Helio Alves, Horacio “El Negro” Hernandez, Abraham Burton, Donny Macaslin, Will Calhoun,Valtinho), and Oblique Ah Blue (Elliot Sharp, Lenny White, Oliver Lake).His recordings showcase a who’s who of the leading edge modern jazz and latin jazz musicians. Santi created "Castle Magic", a trio of double bassists in which he is composer, soloist and director.
 

All GA sections (Main Floor GA & Miles Davis Mezzanine) will be seated by host and are first come, first served (other than where a reserved sign is posted to table).  If you require special seating, please call the venue for accommodations no later than 48 hours prior to show date.

Please note:  If you do not purchase all seats at a table, other customers may be seated with you.

*Our new pre-show reception, "Mix, Mingle and Groove,"  offered before the 7pm show, includes a variety of  appetizers, carving board, and desserts. $60 includes all applicable taxes and an 18% gratuity, as well as parking while you are enjoying the show. Mix, Mingle and Groove reception is from 5:15pm until 6:30pm on show nights only, in the Boathouse 400 restaurant, on the 2nd floor of the hotel.
