Hannes Buder - guitarist, improviser, composer
Hannes Buder studied guitar at the Carl Maria von Weber Conservatory in Dresden and at the Franz Liszt Conservatory in Weimar under the guidance of Stefan Bormann and Frank Möbus. Since then he's been exploring music and its related issues such as dance, movement, improvisation and composition, trying to develop an emotionally authentic music-language.
Hannes Buder's own recording projects include the bands 'SCHULBUS' with Hannes Lingens and Robert Menzel and 'HANNES & POOK' with Carolin Pook. He has collaborated with Beat Freisen, Els Vandeweyer, Audrey Lauro, Lucia Martinez, Clement Nourry and many others. Currently he is playing and composing for The Composers Orchestra Berlin. Hannes Buder's Solo recordings include 'changes' (2000), 'dunkelbunt' (2004) and 'openyoureyescloseyoureyes' (2006).
Hannes has also composed, improvised and recorded music for different dance (Oxana Chi), theater (Jörg Mihan) and film projects (Barbara Lubich, Annick Gaudreault). He's been working temporarily as a teacher/workshop leader at different festivals, music schools and with prisoners in jail.
