The german pianist started his musical education in Munich (Germany). In 1999 he moves to the Netherlands and studies at the 'Conservatorium van Amsterdam' with Rob Madna, Karel Boehlee and Rob van Bavel.
In 2002 he workes as a pianist for the Dutch television show 'Flogiston' and the 'National Wetenschapsquiz' (VPRO network).
In 2003 he moves to New York and studies at the 'Manhattan School of Music'. Among his teachers are Kenny Werner, Kenny Barron, Dave Liebman, John Taylor and Gary Dial. Additionally he studies filmcomposition with Edward Green. He performed with musicians such as Roy Hargrove, Dick Oats and Minu Cinelu.
