In addition to contributing to more than 60 CDs Dan has performed with the Clayton/Hamilton Big Band in L. A., Peter Herbolzheimer's RC&B, as well as playing and recording with artists such as Chaka Khan, Al Jarreau, Lena Horne, Gary Thomas, Albert Mangelsdorff, Gene Jackson, Tom Williams, Chuck Brown, Dennis Chambers, Robin Eubanks, Bob Moses, Charlie Mariano, Tony Bennett, Gladys Knight & the Pips, & The Temptations. He is currently a member of the NDR Big Band.
