Matthias 'Maze' Meusel (born 1976) began studying the drums and piano in the jazz rock pop class of the Academy of Music in Hannover/Germany at the age of 17.

During his studies he contributed to theatre productions, operas, musicals and galas, besides teaching at music schools and workshops.

As a studio and live drummer, Maze is involved in countless productions and tours all over Europe and world wide in over 30 countries.

His versatility and highly sensitive, truly unique style have become a trademark in the international scene.

Maze is a Composition Prize-winner of the first German Composers' Association and Paul Woitchach Foundation.

As Founder of the 'Linden Songs' Edition (Universal), Maze has composed for various artists and his songs have featured in the German singles charts.
