Studierte zuerst in Wuppertal klassisches Saxofon um dann nach einjährigem Stuium am 'Berklee College of Music' in Boston an der Musikhochschule Köln Jazz-Saxofon und Komposition zu studieren.
Neben ihrer Tätigkeit in verschiedener Ensembles (z.B einem Frauen-Saxofon-Quartett) gründete sie eigene Bands zur Verwirklichung bestimmter musikalischer Interessen.
