Since their band was founded on the Moers Festival 2023, drummer Simon Camatta, electric guitarist Raissa Mehner and vibraphonist Salome Amend only survive with the help of electronics and Pliocene klimbim. Thematic heads emerging from the thicket and wild original compositions force them to leave safe beaten paths. It's not without reason that Toxodon's short but muscular legs ended in three-toed feet, so that we still use it today as a bristly-haired analogy:
Three toes, three syllables, three musicians from three cities connect the Ruhr area, Rhineland and Bergisches Land and create a daring tangle of semi-aquatic sound spheres and rugged independent rocks.
