Stefan Varga (D), guitar / composition, studied at the Wiesbaden Music Academy classical guitar and at the Johannes Gutenberg University of Mainz jazz guitar (Werner Neumann, Norbert Scholly). He finished as a graduated jazz guitar teacher. Since then he has been working in many jazz and rock bands and wrote film scores for ARTE/ZDF. Solo concerts, club tours and performances on international festivals (Sziget-Festival Budapest, Folklore im Garten Wiesbaden, MOL Jazz Festival Budapest, Bayerisches Jazzweekend Regensburg e.g.). He was involved in projects projects of the Frankfurt theatre and Hessisches Staatstheater, worked with the Wiesbaden Big Band and recorded many CDs. Since 2004 he works with Tibor Eichinger (West And East, ZoZo). Teacher for guitar and bands at the Wiesbaden music school and jazz camps (e.g. 2x Tokaj Jazz camp / Hungary).
