STEFAN POETZSCH (Germany)
Poetzsch is one of the most innovative violinist's in the world of string players. He worked in numerous projects around the world and composed music for dance, theater and intermedial projects. He performed with improvisation musicians like Lukas Ligeti, Cecil Taylor, John Zorn, regular projects he has with Markus Stockhausen, Benjamin Boone, Ha-Yang Kim and many others.
The new duo VASCONCELOS/POETZSCH will contacting to the Vasconcelos music he created on many ECM records. The collaboration of VASCONCELOS POETZSCH will bring new dimensions of contemporary, world and improvised music for percussion and strings.
