Berlin-born vocalist Susanna Bartilla is an alumna of the renowned Paris school for improvised music and has published several critically acclaimed albums of standards.
Creating an instantly recognizable and thrilling sound and feel, she infuses classic West Coast cool jazz vocals (think Peggy Lee, Anita O’Day, June Christy…) with the Parisian rive gauche charm of a Juliette Greco and the sultry allure of « Blue Angel » Marlene Dietrich, her fellow Berliner.
