Florian Fleischer residing in Berlin since 2010 is a guitarist, improviser and composer who made himself well knowable for his work on the international jazz scenes in Mexico, Finland, the Baltic States, South Korea and Japan.
As a leader he released several albums with the Florian Fleischer Trio / Quartet and Florian Fleischer and das Gelbe vom Ei. He is a founding member of the German Avantgarde trio Massive Schrtige which found high attention throughout Germany, Poland and Switzerland in their active years. And he works as a sideman and composer for the mexican ensemble Toto Nava Group residing in Mexico City. (Releasing in 2023)
Since 2021 he is also member and maincomposer for the Band Die Drei Von Der Platte which gained wide popularity immediately depite releasing in the depths of the pandemic. Educated in Arnhem from 2008 to 2010 and with Frank Maus in Weimar from 2010 to 2014, he takes a wide approach on music. Though deeply connected to Jazztradition he also aims for a modern take, bringing in elements of rock, electronics or popular progressions too.
