Born in Budapest, he was introduced to the world of percussion instruments by János Schwarcz Sr. In 1990 he became second at the National Percussion Competition. In 1995 he graduated from the Liszt Academy of Music as a student of Oszkár Schwarz. Between 1992 and 1995 he was a member of the MÁV Symphony Orchestra. Alongside classical music he is comfortable in the world of jazz too, and in 2000 graduated with another degree from the Jazz department of the Music Academy.

Born in Budapest in 1970 he was introduced to the world of percussion instruments by János Schwarcz Sr. After spending two years at the I. István High School and its symphony orchestra, he studied at the Béla Bartók Secondary School of Music. In 1990 he became second at the National Percussion Competition. In 1995 he graduated from the Liszt Academy of Music as a student of Oszkár Schwarz. Between 1992 and 1995 he was a member of the MÁV Symphony Orchestra. Alongside classical music he is comfortable in the world of jazz too, and in 2000 graduated with another degree from the Jazz department of the Music Academy. Since September 1999 he has regularly participated in the productions of the Budapest Festival Orchestra.
