Johannes Repka the Jazzguitarplayer and composer lives in Berlin and studied in Mannheim and Weimar with Frank Moebus, Frank Kuruc and Juergen Friedrich. He worked with: Rudi Mahall, Joerg Reiter, Christopher Dell, Dejan Terzic, Sebastian Merk, Martin Auer, Rainer Böhm und Jan Roder. Johannes Repka the Jazzguitarplayer and composer studied in Mannheim and Weimar with Frank Moebus, Frank Kuruc and Juergen Friedrich. Beside his work with his own band "JRQ" and the "soundscape project" he worked as a filmcomposer in several international productions. He took part in arranging the opening theaterwork of the 1. Ruhrtriennale ("Deutschland deine Lieder"). International experience: Gegenweltenfestival of New Music, Prague Jazzdays, Tours to South America and Eastern Europe.

He worked with: Rudi Mahall, Joerg Reiter, Christopher Dell, Dejan Terzic, Sebastian Merk, Martin Auer, Rainer Böhm und Jan Roder.

He is joint founder of the artist initiative laboriatorio17 and the concert series "Jazz im Busch" in Mannheim.
